37th annual conference of the Association Internationale de Climatologie
19-21 Jun 2024 Paris (France)

The 37th annual AIC conference, jointly organized by Université Paris Cité, Université Paris 8 and UMR PRODIG and LADYSS, will take place from June 19 to 21 2024, on Campus Condorcet Paris-Aubervilliers. On Saturday June 22, a scientific excursion will take place in the Paris region.

Abstract follow-up

Papers will only be definitively accepted and published in the Proceedings if the following two conditions have been met:

1. The extended abstract has been accepted by the Scientific Committee and strictly complies with the editorial guidelines.

2. Registration fees have been paid by June 12, 2024. The 1st author will receive a certificate from the organizing committee. Co-authors wishing to receive a certificate should contact aic2024paris@gmail.com.

 

Scholarships

Applicants will be personally informed by email of the outcome of their application by the end of March.

Registration for the conference is required for all participants and can only be done via the website at the following address:

The registration fee includes access to the conference, the delegate file, the conference proceedings on a USB key, coffee breaks and three lunches.

Gala dinner

This dinner will take place on Thursday evening. An individual contribution of €60 will be charged in addition to the symposium registration fee. Please note: places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Excursion

Saturday will be devoted to a scientific and cultural excursion, with a visit to the Montsouris station, an “oasis schoolyard” in the 13th arrondissement of Paris and a tour of the catacombs. A group lunch will take place between the two visits.

Further information on the program of this excursion will soon be available on the conference website. A contribution of €50 will be charged to cover the cost of the visit and lunch.

Prices are reasonable, especially for colleagues arriving in small groups of 2, 3 or 4 people.

Accompanying person

Accompanying persons who are not taking part in the conference can still have lunch and coffee breaks with the delegates, but booking is required, and the fee is €20 per day (fixed price). Of course, accompanying persons are welcome at the gala dinner and Saturday excursion.

All reservations must be made in advance via the online form, at the same time as the registration.

Call to sessions

Researchers, associate professors and doctoral students can propose a session. Proposals should be no more than one page long, and should include a title, a presentation of the theme and a few bibliographical references on the subject of the session.

Sessions can be submitted until November 24, 2023, by email to aic2024paris@gmail.com, before being evaluated by the scientific committee.
